what is this strange word, “liebster,” you ask?

i was thinking the same thing not too long ago until i realized i was nominated for the award that holds its name!

what a nice surprise from two fellow bloggers: jamie of ohhcanaduh/growing up nowhere and scott aka artboy68 of 100 portraits!

it’s amazing what a friendly community you may find when you feel as if writing things on a little no-name blog gets lost into the deep abyss of cyberspace!

so, thanks, you two! :)

according to miss ohhcanaduh, “liebster” is derived from a german term meaning, “a close friend.”

and the neat thing about this particular award, as i understand it, is given to a blogger that has fewer than 200 followers.

so, here are the rules:
